Are You Woke?

The term “WOKE” has become a cultural catch phrase! A mantra of sorts...A slogan synonymous with one who has an intellectual grasp of the times that we currently find ourselves living. Sometimes this proclamation of “wokeness” is birthed from the inquisivity of reading and researching, often times this state of mind is a result of the mere regurgitation of information gleaned from social media platforms or the meritoriously manumissioned media personalities, the patronizing politicians or the evil entertainers .

But what does it mean to be truly WOKE? One can be physically awake but spiritually sound asleep. To be TRULY awakened is to understand that most of the world is not! The fully awakened Spirit recognizes the systems of deception and oppression and navigates through its matrix with intentionality and discernment. The fully awakened Spirit is aware of her TRUE identity as scripture foretold that in the last days, she would remember herself! What the world loves, she hates! When the masses congregate, she follows the narrow gate! She knows the Father’s voice because He opened up her mind and she understands scripture!

To be awakened in the Spirit is to be dead to the flesh!

Are you truly woke or are you merely sleep walking?
