They’ve attended top notch schools… But are they well? I’ve given them the finest material possessions that money can buy…But are they well?? They articulate well, dress well, dribble, run and pass the ball well…
BUT ARE THEY WELL??? The Maasai was known as one of the most intelligent and fiercest warrior tribes in all of Africa, interestingly, the common greeting among warriors was… “Kasserian Ingera” which means,
And how are the children? These warriors fully understood that no matter how strong nor how fierce or accomplished they were, if the children were not well, their tribe could not and would not remain well.
As elders, they fully understood their responsibilty. They knew that the tribe was no stronger than the ones coming after them and as such, they held each other accountable for the wellbeing of the next generation.Financial portfolios was never
the topic of their conversations..The price of their dwelling, meaningless.. The emblem on an automobile, sheer futility! Their identity rested solely in whether or not they had imparted the wisdom, strength and courage that it took to continue the legacy of being the fiercest and most intelligent tribe in all of Africa… So in this culture of mass materialism, fierce competition, empty and vain strivings, lack of true purpose…Kasserian Ingera????
